The basic pattern is stripes running diagonally. The interesting thing about this weaving method is that as you weave the beads that are threaded regularly, they will naturally twist. By intentionally mixing the sizes of the beads used, a unique twist has been added to the twist. If you understand the nature of twisting, you can enjoy completely different expressions with just one bead arrangement. The leaf pattern takes advantage of its twisting characteristics to create a dynamic design. If you knit a line pattern, you will be able to see the placement of the straight pattern. Even the seemingly random small flower pattern is the result of Kaoru's careful calculations.
